BTW - I think that this is part of your problem.  I've been doing DNS for 
about 10 years and didn't have problems like this until I started using 
the Red Hat GUI.  Red Hat is making some nice GUI tools for system 
administration but some of them, like this one, aren't ready to replace vi 
just yet.  This is one of those things you need to learn how to do the 
hard way for now.
