Well, since SIPphone doesn't make any money off the service, they have no
reason to lock their devices.  I e-mailed their tech support and they said
that the devices are fully reconfigurable, they just wouldn't support it in
the modified config (which is understandable).

The SIPadapter is made by GrandStream Networks (http://www.grandstream.com/)
which SIPphone is just reselling.
