Kevin, I have your machine's five brothers from the swap you did to get
that box. Ultra 1 is another easily overlooked model of Sun that you can
get great bargains for. People always look out for the more expandable
boxes like the Ultra 2's or SS20's but when you look at the price of extra
processors for these boxes it's obscene. You can get a pile of Ultra 1
machines for what it would cost to build an Ultra 2 out with dual procs.

OpenBSD has been very good to me on sparc machines. But for Linux I like
Aurora. We are ever so close to having Fedora Core on sparc, by the way.
Debian is said to work well on Sparc, but I've tried it a couple of times
and left wondering what all the excitement is about.
