We actually use these cards at Red Hat, so I can promise that they
work with Linux. I've run mine with RHL9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3,
and Fedora Core 1 & 1.9

The 2.6 kernel comes with the proper driver. The other driver I know
works is from http://sourceforge.net/projects/airo-linux/ - the 2.6
kernel drivers are actually a port of the sourceforge driver.

Oh. There's your problem. The linux drivers for airo cards don't
support any firmware newer than 5.00.3. You need to go back a few
revisions.

try flashing the card firmware back to 5.00.3.
Make sure you use the ACU tool to set the WEP keys and SSID.

The minipci version (Airo MPI350) of this card works great as well
with the 2.4 kernels - but not 2.6 just yet.
