Unfortunately, I'd rather not get that in-depth into our internal tech
procedures on the list. Ask me at the next meeting and I can probably
elaborate. :) The reference to creating a test setup was modeled
around an example situation where new or unusual hardware is involved
(the hoopskirt, in particular being a finicky piece of hardware), where
booting to a static configuration such as CD isn't desirable (as it's
unlikely to have the latest drivers, etc without heavy maintenance).
