[TriLUG] mozilla pause for ads

I'm running Mandrake 10.0 using mozilla 1.6.

Frequently while surfing the web, mozilla will pause for up to a minute or 
more without loading a page while claiming to be "Resolving host 
ad.doubleclick.net".  This happens consistenylt at www.nytimes.com and also 
while reading the classifieds for the Charlotte Observer.

Any thoughs on what this could be?  It doesn't happen if I'm using Mozilla in 
XP (God forbid).
