[TriLUG] USB Wifi NIC Recommendations?

All -

I'm running FC2 w/ the PlanetCCRMA 2.6.10 kernel
(http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/) which has all the
necessary PCMCIA/USB/Wireless support and I'm looking for a USB 802.11b NIC
that I can add to the system--easily.

I've got a Linksys WUSB11 v2.8 but am having zero luck in making it work.
Word online (from a limited search) indicates that there are some adapters
which are much easier to deal with.  I've got no problems with iwconfig or
ifcfg-* stuff, but the bitch is getting the thing recognized in the first
place.

If you've got any recommendations to help me out of Atmel-Hell, I'd
appreciate it.  And thanks in advance for indulging my research laziness.
