I finally figured-out what was causing this bounce situation. In the
version of Mailman that I was using before I upgraded to 2.1.5, the
"-owner" and "-admin" suffixed email addresses were synonymous and I had
made entries in my /etc/mail/virtusertable file that reinforced that
situation.
In 2.1.5, the two suffixed email addresses are no longer synonymous.
The "-admin" is deprecated and generates a bounce while the "-owner" is
translated to the administrators and moderators of the list by Mailman
and retransmitted.
The entries in my /etc/mail/virtusertable were translating my listserv
email addresses with "-owner" to "-admin" and causing the bounce situation.
