[TriLUG] Fedora Core 3 Printing

I am running Fedora Core 3.  I was using kernel-2.6.9-1.724_FC3.  Yum delivered this version: kernel-2.6.10-1.741_FC3.

I can't print to a locally attached printer with 2.6.10 though. (kernel-2.6.10-1.737_FC3 does not print either).

With the 2.6.10 kernel my system tells me there is no printer connected.

Using cups-1.1.22-0.rc1.8.4.

Is this a known issue?
