Is this your own personal server or your companies ?  If I had 
questionable hardware that could be replaced for a few hundred dollars 
(motherboard and memory) I'd go that route rather than struggling trying 
to keep it running and guessing what the problem is, not knowing what 
damage it could do down the road (corrupt data).
