[TriLUG] Throttling SFTP bandwidth

You might want to check the configuration file for your software
package. I remember when I worked for a company in Alabama and I had
the same problem in reverse. I had internal clients that were
downloading files from the server and were being limited to about 50K.
Actually slower internally than you could download via the internet.
Finally I found the speed limiting statement on one of the packages
configuration files. I erased it, restarted the service and was
operating at full speed. I'm not sure what FTP package I was using,
but it was whatever secure ftp package Mandrake includes with their
distro. I'll try making a call today to see what package it was and
what file we changed.

Regards,
Mark.
