The only things I delete from my gmail account are the messages
from mailman telling me something has been held.  Otherwise,
all the messages to the TriLUG list and other lists I'm on automatically
get labeled with the correct label and skip the inbox (thereby giving
the same behavior as automatically filtering them into folders).  This
allows me to easily search my TriLUG list e-mails and find
things I'm looking for.
