Just to add to the mix, I just had some trouble accessing the Account 
Request page, armed with my registered e-mail address and member number, 
so perhaps the member number request form is not the only malfunctioning 
form today..  And yes, I already e-mailed sys at trilug.org with the 
problem, as suggested by the error message with which I was presented.
