[TriLUG] Ubuntu on my laptop, wow

I'll have to second Randall's excitement.  A few days ago I wrote in
to ask what the best distro for a novice user would be and the answer
was overwhelmingly Ubuntu.  I downloaded and installed the single CD
and was really surprised. The ease of use, detection of ALL of the
hardware...  Everything was great.  I have considered switching away
from my trust Mandrake but I just can't pull the trigger...
