[TriLUG] pppd and Cingular

I finally got my Verizon PDA working with linux over bluetooth using
DUN, however I haven't been able to figure out how to take advantage
of the newly fired up EVDO network (I still connect at 128k over
dialup, but I understand EVDO should run in the 768k range).

So if anyone knows how to make FC4 and EVDO via an Audiovox vx6600
over bluetooth, I'd love to know.

As for your disconnect problems I had similar ones when I first setup
my vzw DUN connection. however after a little tinkering and playing I
gave up and used kppp to connect and it works wonders! No more
disconnecting. I could have taken the time to see what their config
looked like compared to mine, but I whacked mine already...and to be
honest I didn't much care...it worked.

Hope this helps.
