Will your AD server be accessible to your LAMP server?  If so, you
should be in good shape.  :)  Also, curiosity... you are putting
customers into your AD?  Here I use AD for internal user only...
external get usernames/passwords inside the actual application they
will be using (we have 6,000 external customers and I will not be
maintaining that in my AD!!).  :)  Anyway, hope that link helps.
