The Open Technology Group (OTG) (http://www.otg-nc.com) - a leader in 
the development and delivery of training programs focused around Open 
Source software, is seeking a qualified enrollment specialist 
(sales/marketing person).  The job of the enrollment specialist includes:

    * Staffing OTG and its partners booths at industry conferences
      (OSCON, LWESF, USENIX, etc) to promote our training offerings.
    * Developing and managing advertising programs including
      Google/Yahoo PPC, direct mail, radio, and print programs.
    * Identifying markets that would benefit from increased Open Source
      training offerings.
    * Developing and managing customer relationships, including sales
      call follow ups, generating and sending quotes (typical sales role).
    * Creating and managing a schedule of upcoming courses, including
      enrollment numbers, customer interest, etc.
    * Identifying and building partnership programs with industry
      leaders in the field of open source.

The qualified candidate should have sales experience; excellent written, 
verbal, and general interpersonal communication skills; be able to work 
well without supervision (telecommuting - even 95% is an option here); 
understand the value proposition behind open source software; have a 
basic understanding of common technologies such as Linux, PHP, MySQL, 
PostgreSQL, etc.

This job does not involve "cold calling" or "pressure sales" .

This is a full time, salary + commission position that includes paid 
vacation, medical benefits, etc.
