Don't blame Jason.  Many computer people confuse Halloween and 
Christmas.  It's because OCT 31 = DEC 25.

<pause while the reader figures out the math>

This little factoid/joke is one more reason to enjoy "The nightmare 
before Christmas", a twisted tale of what happens when you confuse the 
two holidays.
