According to http://www.mythtvtalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4648
the HVR-1600 is "CX23418 based which apparently does not work with ivtv".
(IVTV is the kernel drivers for the other Hauppage cards: 150, 250, 350, 500).
So, based on that, I'd be surprised if it worked with mythtv
or linux at all.
