[TriLUG] Linux / Windows Admin Position in RTP

Hi,

Technisource has an immediate opening for an experienced Red Hat Linux and
Windows Admin.

This is a contract-to-permanent position located in the RTP area.

Responsibilities include:

   ·  Formulate, develop, and implement integrated network architectures
   for computer systems, to         include personal computers, servers,
   and networks. Help plan future enhancements and directions for       the
   company-wide computer network.
   ·  Respond to emergency and priority support calls in a fast and
   effective manner. Diagnose and resolve       common server and network
   problems.
   ·  Install, configure, and maintain computer and network operating
   systems and application software, as   appropriate. Provide on-call
   support for computer/network systems as required.
   ·  Perform the collection, analysis, and reporting of operation data for
   use in maintenance, performance  tuning, and capacity planning for
   future enhancements/upgrades.
   ·  Develop standards for computer and network systems, to include
   standards for wiring, equipment,       system security, and routing
   protocols.
   ·  Execute and confirm periodic and one-time server backups.
   ·  Help track IT inventory and order new hardware and software as
   needed.
   ·  Develop and implement technical documentation and operational
   procedures to support day-to-day       operations and change management
   and growth campus enterprise systems and services.
   ·  Maintain knowledge of the latest computer technology.

   Requirements:

   ·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and a
   minimum of 3 years experience in       supporting and administering
   servers running the Linux and MS Windows operating systems.
   ·  Knowledge of Red Hat or Novell Linux distributions is highly desired.
   ·  Experience installing and maintaining Apache & Tomcat.
   ·  Experience with enterprise level email system deployment and support.
   ·  Experience with enterprise level directory services (LDAP) deployment
   and support.
