[TriLUG] an actual Linux question

Have you verified that Fiesty has the auth module you want? I found
out the hard way that a lot of the smaller "auth" modules stopped
working properly with the move from Apache 2.0 to 2.2. I even went so
far as to "update" a mod_auth_oracle module that I was using to work
with Apache 2.2 only to find out that I didn't really know what I was
doing, and I made it terribly slow in the process. My solution was to
drop back to Apache 2.0 until I could find better authentication
solutions.

If want to drop back to 2.0, you can do this in Etch by adding a Sarge
line to /etc/apt/sources and doing an "apt-get install apache2/sarge
-t sarge".
