[TriLUG] ubuntu 7.04 desktop - caps lock key not working

In reviewing history of commands I typed, it looks like I ran "sudo
dpkg-reconfigure console-setup". This asked various questions about
keyboard type, font and special keys, and then updated a file
boottime.kmap.gz. I am pretty sure this is what got it working.
Of course, if you hate the caps lock key, you don't need to mess with
this.
