I've had an issue with Gentoo and wireless since last year on my T41(AR5212
802.11abg NIC (rev 01)). I had things working with WEP last year under
older versions of the 2.6 kernel and ndiswrapper, but since my rebuild last
June I cannot get the builtin wireless to connect to anything unless it is
completely open.

I have never been able to get the madwifi drivers working or
wpa_supplicant.
