[TriLUG] follow up on Triangle Open Source Lab

Dear Fellow Linux Users,
 
Thank you to the folks that showed up Thursday evening at Exploris for our open source lab and to Tim at Exploris for hosting our meeting.  We completed the installation of Ubuntu Server and are now ready to start using the applications on the server.
 
I'd especially like to thank one of the Ubuntu developers that attended our lab.
 
We decided not to use the Video over IP since the reflection off the projector screen was not very legible.
 
Now that we have a working server, we would probably benefit all concerned by going through the necessary steps to perform backup and restore.

Triangle Open Source Lab http://www.triangleopensource.org normally meets on 4th Thursday evenings from 7 PM to 9 PM at Exploris in the room adjacent to the IMAX theater.  Meetings are open to the general public and are free yet require registration by calling Jim at 838-1672 or sending email to jim at neuse.net so we can plan accordingly.
