No I was talking to some folks who had unsubscribed at Linuxworld that 
you are unaware of.  The group DOES have some things to answer for...and 
no I don't support the written code.  Our mission is to expand linux 
education and foster community etc etc...not score points in an 
infantile e-fratparty.  While I don't support the code of conduct...I 
have no cause to oppose it so I will abstain myself rather than vote 
against.

I had a few conversations with such folks...I mentioned that I had had 
such a conversation...

May I suggest you keep a bit more of an open mind?  If enough people 
perceive there is a problem including those who DON'T SUPPORT the code 
of conduct, then that in itself is a problem.  A number of people 
including myself are a bit embarrassed at times to refer people to the 
list.  There is a problem.  The question is the solution.
