[TriLUG] OT Humor (at least to me)

Sadly, this is the approach I am taking. There is a lot more to my story, I
am just trying not to take this thread to far off topic.
Because they company I was with was starting to branch out into the
"security field" with firewall management, and I left for a security
company, They said they have direct grounds to take me to court for damages
to their company (I think he said court costs plus 600 a day for a year)
because of a non compete that I dont remember signing that he refused to
provide me a copy of. The fact that the owner of the company was previously
a lawyer even adds to the fear of even trying. He also said that the non
compete stated I am not allowed to hold any job in Charlotte... which I
think is a crock of !@$3. But am not willing to push my luck on that cause
I moved to an IT company instead of back to Harris Teeter.
As much as I would love to "stick it to the man" I am taking the safer route
and not doing anything, (except word of mouth... and by word of mouth, I
dont mean via email)
Sorry for all the thread jacking thats going on :p
