[TriLUG] Anyone Recommend a Ubuntu Compatible Modem?

Hi Folks,

I'm setting up a Ubuntu Gutsy system for a relative who only has dialup.
Does anyone know of a USB or PCI modem that works well out of the box?

I'd like to make the machine as simple, easy to use, and maintenance 
free as possible, so I'd like to avoid providing an external serial 
modem.  The person who this is for is extremely non-geeky.
