[TriLUG] Suggestion on a Web Cam

When I used Skype on Linux about a year ago, we used a Logitech camera
that doesn't have a model number on it. It was about $29. I "borrowed"
it from the wife's windoze computer, plugged it in (USB connector), and
it worked fine on Ubuntu/Kubuntu. For convenience, we use Skype
regularly on her computer rather than mine. I tried it again this
morning on mine, and Kooka reports it as Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000. I
don't know if that's the real model number or just what Ubuntu thinks it
is, but it works with no problems. I never installed any driver just
for that camera.

Hope this helps.
