BackupPC is great!  If you are a gentoo user, I and some others have 
proposed an ebuild that installs backuppc with apache integration.  You 
can find that on the version bump request on the gentoo bugzilla which 
will likely never get honored.  BackupPC seems like it will be forever 
masked, but I just put my ebuild in an overlay and voila.
