I ran into the same problem using the Tomato firmware on my WRTF54G and 
had to set 'NAT Loopback' to all on the Firewall tab in order to access 
my web domain (www.bearcircle.net) on my desktop server from inside my 
network using my wireless-connected laptop.  I believe it was set to 
'Forwarded only' when I first installed the firmware.
