[TriLUG] Linux power management tools

I remember seeing an article in PCworld about a great power management
tool.  I don't have the magazine any more, and I don't remember the name of
the tool.  I use the defaults in my distro, but pcworld said that this was
better for laptops.  I was wondering if anyone knows of any other tools that
would help me squeeze the most out of my laptop.
