[TriLUG] XP/Vista on Ubuntu (was: Parallels)

I use the original XP install on this laptop that I dd'd into a VM
using VMWare Server and a Linux live CD. Thats right, I booted VMWare
with a linux live cd and used dd to copy the original disk image to
the virtual drive. This worked amazingly well. Had to call in to
Microsoft to reregister my XP though. I just told them I had to
replace the bios, which is kinda the truth. I've had 0 problems and
I've been doing it for three years.
