Regardless, if the IRS considers TriLUG to be a 501(c)(3), it will have 
provided TriLUG a piece of paper (not an on-line document) to that 
effect. If TriLUG has lost the piece of paper, then the IRS can provide 
a replacement. If there never was one, then further activity on TriLUG's 
part may be in order.

And no, I cannot volunteer to take on this bit of work, not yet. I've 
got my own difficult tax situation to worry about. Sometimes I'm very 
much in favor of the "Fair Tax" national sales tax that would be the 
sole and uncomplicated Federal tax. (At other times I fear that it would 
become just *another* tax.)
