so what would be a ball park to estimate for total price of a 3u server
with average bandwidth utilization

All of our racks have dual power feeds with redundant network drops, and we use Cisco 3560G switches as our core backbone. Currently, we are supporting two customers (QA/Dev/Test in Cary and production in Raleigh). We have plenty of space and bandwidth available (100Mbps burst) in either location.

This is a top-tier data center with 24/7/365 power, network, and high-level security (definitely not a mom-n-pop shop). We have badges for entry and must pass a fingerprint scanner before gaining access to our racks. Our cabinets are locked 24/7, and security guards routinely walk through the facility.

We are not looking to make a bunch of money on this - just mainly helping out other guys who need such a facility. This all started with our first customer who needed a data-center footprint and we just built out from there...
