Gang:
What do you guys think of the latest meme dealing with commits to the GNOME project?
It started with Dave Neary's post on commits to GNOME:
http://blogs.gnome.org/bolsh/2010/07/28/gnome-census/
which showed that, in raw numbers, Red Hat has committed almost 16 times more changes to GNOME than Canonical.
This resulted in gdk posting "Red Hat 16%, Canonical 1%":
http://gregdekspeaks.wordpress.com/2010/07/29/red-hat-16-canonical-1/
Then Mark Shuttleworth went off on tribes:
http://www.markshuttleworth.com/archives/439
and then gdk responded:
http://gregdekspeaks.wordpress.com/2010/07/30/its-not-about-tribalism-mark/
Just curious what TriLUGers thought.
