There seems to be something missing in these discussions that should be
addressed.
If the government wanted to cripple a business and had infrastructure in
place, what would stop them from offering say 100GB speed for $1 a month?
Seems pretty ridiculous right? However, without a bill like this in place,
they could do just that. How could they afford it? Well, they can
supplement their loss with tax dollars. Not to mention, that there is not a
single thing in history you can find that the government does efficiently,
so expect that your cost will go up with public services, either directly (
in monthly cost ) or indirectly ( in tax dollars ). This really is a pipe
dream that you seem to have that the government is going to provide this
ridiculously good service for absurd prices and be able to maintain them
without any addition cost to you.
