Yup.  I just handed down my circa 2008 System76 Pangolin Performance laptop to my daughter. It still runs well. The couple of times I've had to contact support, I definitely had the impression that the support department was just one guy, but he took care of my problem professionally & expeditiously.

Two of my close friends bought desktop machines from System76 on my advice over the last 2 years, and they've been quite pleased.

I'd definitely buy from them again if I were in the market for a new Linux box.
