[TriLUG] Offsite data backup/storage suggestions

I recently discovered Crashplan (not open-source) via a mention on lifehacker a few months ago, which offers linux, windows and mac backup clients for free that are surprisingly feature-full - they only charge if you use their storage - backup to a local server or to the other clients is possible for free. I was syncing all my household clients to a local server for awhile, but recently decided to try subscribing to the 'Family' type of account and push 4 machines (2 ubuntu, 1 windows, 1 mac) to their storage. So far, so good after the (long) initial data load of about 65GB. There are for-pay ways to speed that up, but keeping the cost low was of interest. I've encountered minor hiccups with the UI, but nothing bug-worthy.

They're currently running a 10% holiday discount (https://www.crashplan.com/consumer/store-holiday.vtl) that brings the cost down to $5 per month for up to 10 clients on their storage.
