[TriLUG] OT: Questions about AT&T U-verse

I personally had near-perfect service with the DOCSIS 3 30x5. I had it for
about a year in West Raleigh, with only a single outage that lasted ~2
hours. I consistently got the rated speed, both up and down. I only
cancelled because I moved last week; I haven't had a chance to get a feel
for how well it's working at my new place yet.

On the other hand, any time I actually had to deal with TWC's tech support,
it was a nightmare. And it seems the Ubee is a nice modem, but a *really*
crappy router. Though once I figured out how to stick it in bridge mode, I
didn't have any more trouble with it.
