Have you considered dropping the heavy-weight PowerPoint wannabe and using HTML?

The combination of HTML5/CSS/JS has led to quite a few very attractive
players in the field.  Quick example:

There are many more, and I'd be interested to hear what TriLUG members
have to say about the field of options.
