This actually seems like a fairly good use case for Hangouts With Extras on
Google+. They let you start/join a named hangout, invite phone
participants, chat (video/audio and text), share screens, open Google Docs,
etc. Using a social network for meetings is a bit questionable, but this
seems to fit the requirements pretty nicely.
