[TriLUG] watching IPv6 traffic

At my recent workshop, someone was wishing there was a way to see how 
much IPv6 vs IPv4 traffic was flowing on the machine. I came across an 
article[1] discussing the networking changes in Thursday's Ubuntu 
release. Toward the end of that article is a link to a python script[2] 
which shows the percentage of traffic across the sample time. Someone on 
this list with some GUI skills might be able to adapt the framework to a 
tray icon or such for easier use.
