My friend is running my own instance of bind9 (directly on the router) with 8.8.8.8 and 4.2.2.2 as fallbacks. Newest release of Ubuntu also comes with a built-in resolver so the default /etc/resolv.conf contains 127.0.0.1 (arg! IPv4!) as one of the addresses. Igor
