Ping times for some nameservers, from behind my Time-Warner cablemodem &
Linksys E3000 router:

ping 24.25.5.52 -- avg 9 ms  TWC
ping  209.18.47.61 -- avg 9 ms  (TWC -- yes, it's finally back up)
ping 8.8.8.8 -- avg 17 ms  Google
ping 8.8.4.4  -- avg 17 ms  Google
ping 208.67.222.222 -- avg 17 ms  (OpenDNS)
ping 4.2.2.1 -- avg 18 ms  (Level 3)
ping 151.197.0.38 -- avg 25 ms (Verizon / BellAtlantic)
ping 64.81.45.2 -- avg 83 ms (SpeakEasy)
ping 66.93.87.2 -- avg 114 ms (SpeakEasy)
ping 203.8.183.1 -- avg 250 ms (aapt.com.au)
ping 156.154.70.1 -- avg 25 ms + 25% packet loss (UltraDNS)

Ping times are approximate.
