I don't have any device specific firewall rules.

When I reenabled the wifi, it switched routes up:
$ route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
0.0.0.0         10.2.2.1        0.0.0.0         UG    0      0        0 wlan0
10.2.2.0        0.0.0.0         255.255.255.0   U     0      0        0 br0
10.2.2.0        0.0.0.0         255.255.255.0   U     0      0        0 wlan0
169.254.0.0     0.0.0.0         255.255.0.0     U     1008   0        0 br0
192.168.122.0   0.0.0.0         255.255.255.0   U     0      0        0 virbr0

now pings to my router are fast (they go over gigabit), but Internet
all goes over wifi.
