You are right! Looks like the MBP Retina indeed has two Thunderbolt
displays: http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/specs-retina/ under Connections
and Expansions. It also has an HDMI port.

The regular MBP on the other hand only has a single Thunderbolt port and no
HDMI. Interesting... are we looking at a laptop capable of driving three
external displays?
