[TriLUG] Problems with KVM on CentOS 5.8

You run a compile on a guest virtual machine and the host reboots?

The host is Centos 5.8 and the guest is Centos 6.

Can you tell us more about your VM setup? What kind of resources and
drivers does it have?

# processors
# ram
# virtual network driver?
# virtual disk driver?

KVM is pretty solid and shouldn't be doing this at all.

Cheers,
