I mentioned in yesterday's meeting about THATCamp (The Humanities and
Technology Camp), a BarCamp-styled event being held in Charlotte next
Friday and Saturday.

It's certainly no substitute for BarCamp, but it's an interesting
event nonetheless!

If any of you happen to be interested in these sorts of Digital
Humanities events, HASTAC.org keeps a calendar of events (local,
abroad, and online) on the subject. A substantial part of the
discussion is related to teaching and technology, something I know is
relevant to some of our members' interests. There is also a lot of
interest in open source and open content.
