I just ordered a Raspberry Pi (been wanting one in any case) and I plan
to use the EyeTV Tuner with OpenElec per this post:

If I can insure that the EyeTV works with the RPi I'll probably just
dual boot the Mac to OpenElec and use the RPi for something else.
