Agreed, I would Say Tesla was the opposite of Edison.
 
90% inspiration and 10% perspiration.

Tesla despised Edison's approach of throw everything at it and see what sticks. He would think his inventions up almost to completion before even building them. Thinking that deeply without prototypes is truly amazing. I relate much more to Edison approach. Try, Try, Try, Got it!
